In plots, as long as the display is not cleared, the variables being plotted appear as separate lines for each run, i.e. each time the model is reset and re-run, possibly with new parameter values. In tables, though, the data get overwritten in each run. Is there a way to get the data for each run to appear in separate columns (or rows, depending upon how the table is set up)?
I have build a very simple model and added an input slider in the execution window for a variable defined as a Variable parameter (I do give it a default value). I am able to change the value of the variable using the slider. However, when I click the Stop button to reset the simulation in order to run the model with the new value of the parameter, the value gets reset to the default value. I do not recall this happening in v6.4, the version I last used.
I have a current Standard License for Simile. I normally work on a Mac, so I have been downloading the Mac package. I am now doing some work with a colleague that uses Windows, plus I have also obtained a faster Windows machine. Is it possible to download a Windows version under the same license, or do I need to purchase a separate license.
Last fall I contacted you regarding issues with Simile, and found that a new update was available that fixed the problem. At that time I subscribed to everything that looked like it would provide update info, but apparently I checked the wrong boxes (got all the stuff about C-Roads). Added some more subscriptions this morning.
So, still running 6.5 on MacOSx El Capitan 10.11.6, 16GB of DDR3 memory, nothing else running, and Simile starts up and just disappears with no error message or residue of what happened.
I have earlier 6.5 v but it kept on closing down eveyr minute. Then downloaded 6.7 but it does not open, the message is below.
Can you please help me soon to work it out, I'm especially visiting an expert in US from Oz for the next 7 days to work on some models, and encountering this problem actually demeans my trip. I'll highly appreciate a quick response. Thanks Kamal
The latest version of Simile deals with some problems that have cropped up on newer operating systems, harmonizes some aspects of model behaviour, fixes some problems with unit checking and makes the user interface more robust.
When I moved the site to Linode, I cloned the existing Drupal version which was 6.36. Once it was working I updated it to 6.37, which was described as the final release of v6, and which it was necessary to upgrade to before taking the leap to v7 or v8.
