Current set-up

Jasper,

Although I tend to avoid doing this, I once again saved a model with the current set-up.  If I do that and want to open the model again, it does open the model diagram, it also opens the interface, but then it opens the welcome screen and goes into what looks like an infinite loop.  At some point it opens the welcome screen and if I click that away, it askes me if I want to close the program or wait for the process to end (it never does, so I tend to close the program)

The model and all the data associated with it are rather large so I can not send them to you as attachments.  but I can post them in a dropfolder for you to look at!

I see what you mean, it has chewed through 2.4GB of main memory and shows no sign of stopping!

What you can do is rename the .shf file. Then when you open the model, Simile will produce a message saying it cannot find this file, and then it will start with a new empty display setup. Meanwhile I will try to find out what is going wrong when reloading the one you sent me.

It seems that if you squeeze a graph plotter pane right down before saving the display tool setup, then an endless loop will result when you try to restore that setup. It's simple to fix, but the next Simile version will probably be v6. I can send you a patch if you really need it.

That is Ok, don't really need it now!  Happy it will be solved in the next version!
